Natural Birthstones

Since the prehistory times volcanoes and stones erupted by the volcanoes have been considered a source of vital energy. Volcanoes are considered to bestow good luck for life for those who are born near them, especially if they are born in conjunction with an eruption. This is because the stones that are made of lava are the raw material of the Universe considering that are directly made of the primordial fire contained by the Earth guts. Such burning material is in turn coming from the Sun and thus, from the stellar material originated by the Big Bang. Life on earth is possible thanks to volcano rocks that on their solidification process have generated the earth’s crust where human life develops and, most importantly, thanks to the water that was created by condensation and precipitation of steams emitted by volcanoes. Volcanic gas emissions are very rich of H20, more than the 90% of their whole composition. Therefore, it is possible to say that living beings and the birth of the phenomena “Life” derive from the primordial material, this is, they derive from the enormous fused compound that is still kept at the inside of our planet. All that was already understood in ancient times as it was obvious and natural. When it was possible the amulets and any other object considered to bestow good luck was forged working the compact rocks made of lava, such as basalts and gemstones generated from the magmas. Basaltic stones are natural stones considered to be of primordial essence having undergone little alteration. The alteration of external agents (water, air oxygen, microorganisms, tectonic stress) could change the aspect and the composition of the lava stones. If alteration of external agents does not intervene on them basaltic stones keep their original nature. Such stones can be found only near the volcanoes or in the deep ocean bottom. Still, after some years the natural agents have already modified them! For that reason possessing a “native” basalt and preserve it from any alteration or modification means to keep intact the primordial natural characteristics of the most primitive and natural stone that could exist. Sedimentary and metamorphic stones (that are the result of the agents that modify the rocks of magmatic and volcanic nature) are certainly natural, but surely they can not represent the authentic “crystallised” image of the material that has been generated by the Earth and Life. If we observe a subtle section of lava stone under the microscope we could ascertain that is formed of unnumbered glasses of different composition, colour and nature, they are all fused and mixed. They are the result of the finest block of gemstones.
